Our 2025 Vacation Bible School was enjoyed by 110 children June 9 - 13. They learned they could trust Jesus in a wild world, get help with their Bible Buddies with a focus on 5 verses from the Book of Matthew, and they also enjoyed team games, both inside and out. A Word Service was held on the last day in the sanctuary. We would like to thank the 45 junior/senior high students and the over 20 adult volunteers who helped make this week such a memorable event for our participants. We will be celebrating our High School Graduating Seniors of 2025 this SUNDAY, May 18th at the 11:30am Mass. There will be some cake afterwards in the Parish Hall with Swag Bags for the Seniors. Wear your gown and cords if you have them! RSVP by clicking this article.
Most Blessed Sacrament and the Serra Club honored our Altar Servers this past Sunday, May 11, at their annual awards presentation. These young people (grades 4-12) help at all our weekend and special masses. Jim Finkenkeller represented the Serra Club and provided certificates and prayer cards to our servers. In addition, we thanked Conrad Wrangler for his eight years of service as the chairperson for this group, and we welcome Sean Gillen Jr as our new chairperson. Please click the title for photos.
We joined our First Communicants honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary at this year's May Crowning. They led us in the prayer of the Rosary as rose petals were placed in front of the statue of Mary, along with long stem roses. Thanks to our First Communicants organized by Eileen Finkenkeller and also to our adult choir. We also thank Rv. Fr. Binoy Kurian who presided, and to Deacon Willy Montano who assisted. Our MBS Nursery sponsored an Easter Egg Hunt for our youth in our church Family Life Center gymnasium. Thank you to everyone who donated and participated! Pictures are available by clicking the title.
Our parish celebrated Easter this past week. The 10:00 mass was presided by Rev. Fr. Binoy Kurian and Deacon Guillermo (Willie) Munoz. Our Knights of Columbus will be hosting the Spring Shredding Event Saturday, May 17 at the church parking lot. This is an opportunity to shred personal paper documents and also contribute to the Knights charities.

We had a wonderful turnout for our 2024 Trunk-or-Treat on October 29th! Thank you to those who provided candy, parking guidance, candy runners and especially to the owners of over 30 trunks that supported this event. Also, a special thank you to Fr. Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County is reaching out again for help in providing a Christmas gift to every client who receives meals during the year. We currently have 35 volunteer drivers who deliver meals every week to clients from Most Blessed Sacrament Church, the North Arlington distribution site, and they look forward to giving a gift with the meals for the Christmas holiday. All gifts should be individually wrapped and tagged male or female. Collection boxes are at the church entrances. Deadline for gifts is December 8. Our 2024 Vacation Bible School was held Jun 17-21. Approximately 100 children (pre-K to 5th grade) participated as well as nearly 70 youth and adult volunteers. Each day's focus included a new theme and saint: Monday - God's Love Helps Us Stand Strong - St. Patrick; Tuesday - Family and Friends Helps Us Stand Strong - St. Joesph; Wednesday - Prayer Helps Us Stand Strong - St. Margaret; Thursday - Trusting in God Helps Us Stand Strong - Mary, Mother of God; Friday - The Bible Helps Us Stand Strong - St. Jerome.
